Job summary

Moog Aircraft Group in Tewkesbury is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team on a 2-weekly rotating AM/PM shift pattern with shift allowance. You will repair and maintain CNC, hydraulic and electrical machine tools supporting aerospace manufacturing and test operations, ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Training is provided on our specific machine models; strong maintenance fundamentals and a proactive, reliable approach are required.

Qualifications

Vocational qualification in engineering.
5+ years' hands-on experience in hydraulic, mechanical, mechatronic, or CNC machine maintenance roles.
Proven experience diagnosing and repairing CNC machine tools and controls.
Understanding of electronic circuits, CNC systems, and fault-finding procedures.
Knowledge of robotics is advantageous but not essential.
A proactive, reliable approach with high personal standards.
Strong team working skills and clear communication ability.

Responsibilities

Delivering preventative maintenance and repair support for CNC machine tools and related equipment
Providing backup support for test systems
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control faults on CNC machinery
Ensuring all repairs meet internal and external audit standards, leaving equipment calibrated and production-ready
Managing parts procurement and inventory for timely, cost-effective maintenance
Maintaining accurate risk assessments and adhering strictly to health and safety protocols
Participating in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting a site with over 150 test systems, managing up to 10 concurrent support activities
