Job summary

KNDS UK in Stockport seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support manufacturing maintenance and improve asset availability. You will work to the Agility Maintenance schedule, delivering scheduled, planned and reactive maintenance to a high standard.

The role requires knowledge of CNC equipment, PLCs and drives, fault diagnostics, and the ability to provide leadership during investigations while maintaining SHE awareness and reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Multi skilled technician/engineer with electrical bias and HNC/HND background.
• Recognised H&S training and competence.
• Experience with CNC maintenance and fault diagnostics is advantageous.
• Problem solving and experience in similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly maintenance schedule to ensure asset availability at required performance level.
• Transition the maintenance approach from reactive to planned preventive maintenance.
• Fault diagnostics and repair of CNC equipment and PLCs/drives.
• Lead investigations and report findings clearly for root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with line managers to optimise mean time between failures.
