Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Limited is seeking an experienced CNC/Machinist Lecturer in Essex to design, deliver and assess machining and CNC programmes. The role blends practical workshop teaching with the theory learners need to succeed, across multiple levels, drawing on industry expertise to keep curriculum relevant.

You will create a supportive learning environment, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Substantial practical experience in CNC, machining or precision engineering.
• The ability to teach and demonstrate practical skills clearly to learners.
• A commitment to helping learners achieve and progress.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant Level 3 Qualification

Responsibilities

• Designing, planning, delivering and assessing machining and CNC programmes across a range of levels.
• Delivering a mix of practical workshop teaching and underpinning theory.
• Bringing current industry practice and standards into your teaching.
