Job summary

Aspired Talent Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with turning experience to join a busy manufacturing environment in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be confident programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled turning machines and reading engineering drawings.

This permanent role offers day shift hours Monday to Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm and Friday 6:00am–1:30pm, with a focus on producing components to tight tolerances, selecting tooling and cutting parameters, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist.
• Strong experience with CNC turning.
• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines.
• Experience using Fanuc controls.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of machining processes, tooling and tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Aspired Talent are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with Turning experience to join a busy manufacturing environment in Manchester.

We are looking for a skilled CNC machinist(Turner) who is confident programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines, with hands-on experience using Fanuc controls.

The Role

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines.
• Working with Fanuc-controlled CNC machines.
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
• Selecting and setting the appropriate tooling and cutting parameters.
• Producing components to required specifications and tight tolerances.
• Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Making adjustments to programs, tooling and machine settings where required.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.

About You

Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am - 1:30pm
