Job summary

Dovetail And Slate Limited is seeking a CNC/Machinist Lecturer to design, deliver, and assess machining and CNC programmes across multiple levels. The role blends practical workshop teaching with underpinning theory, bringing current industry practices into the classroom and workshop.

Ideally you have substantial CNC or precision engineering experience and can teach effectively, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Designing, planning, delivering and assessing machining and CNC programmes across a range of levels.
Delivering a mix of practical workshop teaching and underpinning theory.
Bringing current industry practice and standards into your teaching.
Assessing learner work fairly and giving clear, constructive feedback.
Creating a safe, positive and supportive workshop environment.
Monitoring learner progress and adapting your teaching to meet individual needs.
Working with colleagues to develop and keep the curriculum relevant.
