Job summary

Pertemps Southampton is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing business in Southampton. You will work with in-house design and production teams and handle both 5-axis and 3-axis CNC/CAD projects.

The role covers programming and operating CNC machines on varied one-off projects with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and detail. Monday to Friday, 8am-5.30pm, £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience, with 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC experience.
• Engineering mindset.
• Excellent hands-on skills with tools, machines or materials.
• Understanding of 3D CAD.
• Excellent eye for detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

CNC Machinist

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing business based in Southampton. Our client is looking for a technically minded and driven individual to join their team who takes pride in their craftsmanship.

Responsibilities as a CNC Machinist:

• Working closely with the in-house design and production team, bringing ideas to life
• Working on unique one-off projects
• Using a mix of traditional craftsmanship and cutting edge CNC/ CAD machinery
• Using both the 5 Axis and 3 Axis machines
• Programming and operating the CNC machines
• Working with 3D CAD to bring ideas to life

Requirements:

• Proven CNC experience
• Engineering mindset
• Excellent hands-on skills, whether its tools, machines or materials
• Understanding of 3D CAD
• Excellent eye for detail and natural problem solver

The CNC Machinist Role:

• Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm
• £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
