Omega Plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate Haas or Fanuc controlled machines, read engineering drawings and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. You will perform in-process inspections, document results, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting continuous improvement efforts for aerospace, defence, motorsport and transport projects.
The role requires experience with M and G codes, meticulous attention to detail and effective communication
machines. Work from engineering and technical drawings to manufacture precision components. Install, edit and run machine programmes. Prepare and load materials and components. Manufacture parts to specified tolerances and quality standards. Carry out in-process inspection and measurement of finished components. Accurately complete inspection records and quality documentation. Use the IFS ERP system to fulfil daily production responsibilities. Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Managers and Quality personnel. Report any production, quality or equipment issues promptly. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the work area. Take a proactive approach to health and safety, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Support operational requirements by remaining flexible and adaptable to changing production demands. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
