Job Responsibilities:

1. Manufacture parts with CNC machines using industry-standard techniques, adhering to quality assurance procedures.
2. Plan machining jobs from schedules, drawings, and CAD files.
3. Program new and modify existing parts using Mazatrol as needed.
4. Determine work holding, tool holding, and tools required for jobs, working independently or with staff.
5. Assemble tools and toolholders, set with presetter.
6. Design and manufacture fixtures and work holding.
7. Manage tooling and material needs, check inventory, and place orders.
8. Use conventional machining equipment as required.
9. Maintain manufacturing information and ensure safe operations.
10. Perform equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
11. Keep work area clean and organized.
12. Arrive on time, work overtime and weekends as necessary.
13. Take ownership of work, act professionally, and collaborate effectively.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

1. High school machining program or post-secondary training in machining.
2. Minimum 1 year CNC operation experience, preferably in a high-mix environment.
3. Mazak Mazatrol experience is a plus.
4. Ability to set up, prove out, and operate CNC machines, and edit programs.
5. Experience with precision measuring instruments.
6. Ability to read drawings and GD&T.
7. Knowledge of work holding and tooling equipment.
8. Strong math skills and basic computer skills.
