A reputable manufacturing company in NI known for customer service and successful contract wins. They are expanding their CNC team.

Your new role

Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, the CNC Machinist will manufacture precision components according to drawings, perform self-verification, operate CNC mill turn/mills/gear shaping machines, interpret engineering drawings to ISO standards, set up and program machines, select cutters and tools, optimize speeds and feeds, and use engineering metrology techniques to ensure high-quality output.

Shift pattern (Currently): 2 weeks Mon - Wed 07.30-19.50, 2 weeks Thurs-Sat 07.30-19.50, 2 weeks nights Mon - Thurs.

Attractive shift pay rates.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace environments
• Experience with twin spindle, twin turret, multi-axis CNC machines
• Ability to read engineering drawings and production instructions
• Knowledge of Siemens controls and machining
