Join our Team: CNC Operator

Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated CNC Operator to contribute to the Terex Dungannon Machine Shop team.

Position: CNC Operator

Location: Dungannon

Reporting to: Production Supervisor

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week

What you will do

You will play a pivotal role within the Machine Shop Team, helping to create equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Understand technical plans and be capable of working out measurements.
2. Process and prepare raw steel for production on your assigned machine.
3. Meet production targets while maximizing efficiency.
4. Ensure the safe and controlled movement of production parts; manually, via crane, or lifting equipment.
5. Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times, demonstrating our commitment to Zero Harm.
6. Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
7. Operate a forklift or combi lift truck, pending training.

What you will bring

1. Previous experience in the use of hand plasma, CNC machinery, and stud welding.
2. Use of CNC plasma desirable.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. A proactive approach to problem-solving.
5. Proven organizational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and control daily workload.
6. Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
7. Ability to work under pressure and be dependable and reliable.
8. Work on initiative and with minimal supervision.
