Key Duties Operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision-engineered components. Setting and operating lathes, milling machines and sliding head machines. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards. Conducting basic machine checks and ensuring equipment is maintained correctly. Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment. Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets. Undertaking training to develop additional skills and responsibilities.
What We\'re Looking For Previous CNC machining or machine operating experience would be beneficial. Knowledge of CNC machines, lathes, milling machines or sliding head machinery. Ability to read engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Reliable and hardworking approach to work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to support shift work during busy periods. Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30. Friday: 07:30 - 12:30. 40 hours per week. Overtime available and paid at 1.5x hourly rate. During busy periods, there may be opportunities to work a late shift from 14:00 - 00:00, paid at 1⅓ times the standard hourly rate.
