Job summary

Jackie Kerr Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Aylesbury to lead CNC milling operations and ensure high-quality parts in a manufacturing environment.

Role involves setting up and operating 3-axis machines with Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi controls, reading drawings, and upholding ISO 9001 standards. Shift pattern provides a 15% premium on top of negotiable salary.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting and operating machinery.

• Understanding of metrology and use of metrology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out CNC milling operations as directed by production supervision.
• Operate 3 axis machines.
• Set up and run CNC machines.
• Machining of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium & CuNi.
• Participate in ISO 9001 quality requirements.

CNC Machinist

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an organized CNC Machinist from a manufacturing background to take the lead in manufacturing high quality parts!

CNC Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carry out CNC Milling operations as directed by production supervision
• Operating 3 Axis machines
• Fanuc controls on Siemens and Mitsubishi machines
• Assist in the work carried out within other production areas
• The setting & operation of CNC machines
• Machining of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium & CuNi materials as instructed
• Manufacture work in line with the tolerances and dimensions stated on our drawings
• Participate with all ISO 9001 quality requirements as dictated by procedures
• Participate in the quality control process relevant to the work carried out

The ideal CNC Machinist will:

• Have experience of setting and operating machinery
• Have understanding of programming CNC machines
• Be able to read and work from engineering drawings
• Understanding of Metrology and the use of Metrology equipment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (desirable)
• Be IT Literate (desirable)

Working Hours:

Monday to Wednesday 13:30pm – 23:30pm

Thursday 13:30 – 23:00pm
