Job summary

BHC is a family-run business and a leading UK-based steel fabrication company. We are hiring for day and night shift CNC Loaders to help position structural steel sections and load materials in the correct order within a busy workshop in Carnwath, South Lanarkshire.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will load materials, complete documentation, and ensure safe, timely material flow. You will work with CNC Operators and Material Controllers, maintaining a clean and organised space and

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel fabrication or workshop environments.
• Experience handling and loading structural steel sections or heavy materials.
• Competent with overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Good organisational and communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely, including overhead cranes.
• Complete documentation and record activities in TnT or Strumis.
• Load materials in correct order and location, ensuring timeliness.
• Liaise with CNC Manager and Material Controllers for material lists and delivery.
• Unloading materials from vehicles and keeping a clean, safe workspace.
