Job summary

BHC in Carnwath, South Lanarkshire, is expanding and recruiting a CNC roll-forming setter/operator to join our workshop team. You will safely operate production equipment, assemble components, and ensure products meet required specifications within a busy cold rolling plant.

We are looking for candidates with experience in roll-forming or machine operation, a good eye for detail, and the ability to read and follow technical instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in roll-forming manufacturing or machine operation.
• Ability to read and follow technical/work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Ability to work safely around industrial machinery.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate cold rolling and related production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assemble and position components according to work instructions.
• Load and unload coils and finished products using appropriate equipment.
• Monitor machinery and report faults or quality issues.
• Perform routine quality checks and measurements.
• Complete production records and documentation.
• Carry out equipment checks, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
