Job summary

Severfield is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator for our Ballinamallard site. You will monitor and feed an automated CNC system to process steel sections, ensuring a quality product is passed to the next stage of production.

You will set up machines with the correct material and tools, check blades and consumables, and replace them as required. A background in manufacturing and a good grasp of health and safety are essential, with overhead crane knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and CNC data.
• Knowledge of operating overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain CNC-processed steel sections to ensure quality.
• Set up machines with correct material and tools and load appropriate blades and consumables.
• Replace blades and other consumables as required.
• Ensure safety and compliance in a night shift environment.
