Job summary

ESS Employment Ltd is seeking a CNC Lathe Turner, Setter and Operator to join its client in Stroud. The role involves setting and operating CNC mills with Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol controls to produce aerospace quality components.

A late shift is available with a 30% uplift, and a strong emphasis on accuracy within tight tolerances. Experienced candidates should be able to select tooling, edit machining programs and ensure compliance with internal processes and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner/Lathe
• Ability to set intricate parts for milling
• Flexible and adaptable to be able to complete all tasks with accuracy, and within fine tolerances
• Experience with either Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol is essential
• Experience of precision components is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Machinery (CNC Mills) producing Aerospace Quality Machined Components
• Select the required tooling to perform machining operations
• Edit and adjust machining programs
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and safety policies
