Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd is recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter Operator in Braintree on a late shift. The role involves setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision aerospace components.

We offer £18–£19 per hour on a full-time basis, working Monday to Thursday, 1:45pm–11:45pm, with a three-day weekend and opportunities to develop technical skills in a well-established environment.

Qualifications

• Setting and operating CNC milling machinery to tight tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Work with Haas and Hurco machinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Select tooling and adjust machine settings.
• Produce precision components to tolerances.
• Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy.
