Office Angels Limited is recruiting a CNC Grinder to join an established precision engineering team in Wigston, Leicester. You will set, operate and adjust grinding machinery to produce high-precision components using titanium, maraging steels and other alloys.

The role involves reading drawings, performing precise grinding, and inspecting work with micrometers and bore gauges. Expect rotating shifts with shift allowances and overtime premiums in a modern manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as CNC Grinder or Manual Grinder.
• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate and adjust CNC grinding machinery.
• Carry out precision grinding to tight tolerances and surface finishes.
• Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, bore gauges and other precision tools.
• Monitor grinding wheels, tooling, dressing cycles and machine performance.
• Ensure components meet required quality standards and maintain production records.
