Job summary

Castle Employment Group is recruiting for an experienced CNC Gas Profiling Operative to join a well-established structural steel manufacturer in Wetherby. You will set up and operate CNC gas profiling machinery to accurately cut steel plates and components, reading engineering drawings and ensuring high-quality outputs.

The role offers a Monday to Thursday day shift, a 4-day working week with Fridays off, overtime at enhanced rates, and a competitive benefits package including pension, private

Qualifications

Experience with CNC gas profiling or similar machinery.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and cutting instructions.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Health and safety conscious and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC gas profiling and profile burning machinery.
Cut steel plate and components to engineering specifications.
Read drawings and cutting instructions accurately.
Monitor operations to maintain quality and production efficiency.
Carry out related tasks such as grinding, deburring and handling materials.
