Job summary

Proactive Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Brake-Press Operator to join our Taplow, Maidenhead team. You will operate Safan/Amada press brakes, set up tooling, and produce parts to tight tolerances with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires precision, the ability to read engineering drawings, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Shifts run 07:30–16:00 Mon-Thu and 07:30–13:00 on Fridays, with on-site work in Taplow, Maidenhead.

Qualifications

• Operates CNC Brake-Press machines to documented specs.
• Produces parts within +/-0.2 mm tolerance on small to medium batches.
• Adheres to quality standards and keeps workstation clean.
• Reads 1st and 3rd angle drawings and uses measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment on press brake machines (Safan/Amada).
• Maintain accuracy and quality of finished parts.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a can-do, reliable attitude and good housekeeping.

Proactive Global Recruitment is hiring for experienced CNC Break -Press Operators based in Taplow, Maidenhead, SL6 location.

Shift Timings : 07:30 am - 16:00 (Monday - Thursday), 7:30 am - 1:00 pm (Fridays)

Location : Taplow, Maidenhead, SL6

Salary : £16 per hour PAYE/ £19 per hour - Umbrella Pay

Responsibilities

• Ability to operate plant and equipment or manufacturing processes on our Press Brake machines (Safan/Amada).
• Ability to work to a tolerance (+/- 0.2mm), small to medium batches, requiring a high degree of accuracy.
• Ensures consistent high quality of finished product, working with 3rd and 1st angle engineering drawings.
• Maintains a high-quality standard and ensures a good level of housekeeping
• Ability to use measuring equipment.
• Reliable, accurate and flexible working attitude.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Must have a can-do attitude.
