Job summary

Unilever Burton upon Trent Factory is seeking an Asset Care Coordinator to manage the CMMS, optimise preventive maintenance and drive reliability improvements across asset care. The role focuses on maintaining asset data integrity, planning PMs, and supporting digital maintenance initiatives.

The successful candidate will have an apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in engineering maintenance, FMCG experience, and strong mechanical/electrical skills, with good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 qualification in engineering maintenance or equivalent
• Experience in FMCG environment preferred
• Strong mechanical/electrical skill set and CMMS utilisation

Responsibilities

• Act as site owner and super-user for the CMMS (Build App)
• Maintain asset hierarchy, equipment records, PM plans and work orders
• Work with maintenance planner to ensure full coverage and data accuracy
• Develop reporting dashboards and KPIs to improve maintenance performance
• Train teams on CMMS best practices and new features
• Lead root cause analysis for chronic losses and implement actions
• Monitor asset health and recommend strategies to improve OEE and MTBF
