Job summary

Owen Daniels in Gloucester is seeking a permanent CMM Inspector to ensure aerospace components meet quality standards before release to customers. The role focuses on inspection of composite and metallic parts, dimensional checks, and documenting C of C packs.

You will use CMMs and PCDMIS, read engineering drawings, and support MRB processes while collaborating with production to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in quality inspection/control within manufacturing, ideally composites or aerospace.
• Strong experience with CMM programming and operation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using Offline PCDMIS Programming.
• Skilled with callipers, micrometres and CMMs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection of composite and metallic components.

• Gauge R&R reporting.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
