Job summary

DK Recruitment is seeking an experienced CMM Technician for its precision engineering client in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on inspecting components, verifying dimensional accuracy and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements.

You will programme and operate CMM equipment, interpret GD&T and produce First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102). A strong eye for detail and teamwork are essential to support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven CMM inspection experience, preferably in aerospace or precision engineering.
• Experience with CMM programming, ideally using Aberlink software.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with FAI and AS9102 documentation.
• Knowledge of measurement equipment (micrometers, verniers, shadowgraphs, gauges).
• Good mechanical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities
