Senior plc / Lymington Precision Engineers, a leading precision manufacturer in the UK, seeks a CMM Inspector to ensure components meet drawing tolerances with high accuracy. You will inspect parts via CMM and manual methods, adjust programs, and maintain extensive quality documentation to support production.

The role requires at least 3 years in a high-precision environment, proficiency in CMM software (COSMOS/PC-DMIS), and a solid understanding of GD&T.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CMM programming and adjustments.
• Understanding of GD&T and drawing tolerances.
• Excellent IT skills (Word & Excel).

Aufgaben

• Inspect parts using CMM or manual methods and adjust CMM programs.
• Multiset CMMs when required.
• Perform in-process, first-off and final inspection and evaluate conformance to engineering requirements.
• Raise nonconforming material/products and support corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and reports (PCPs, critical feature requirements, FAIR data).
• Support supplier documentation review and manual inspection activities.
