Job summary

The Workshop in Lymington is seeking a precise CMM Inspector to ensure components meet engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances.

You will inspect with CMM equipment and manual methods, create and verify CMM inspection programs, and carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections while maintaining accurate records. Collaborating with Quality and Production teams, you will help resolve issues and uphold high quality standards on every part.

Qualifications

• Experience in a CMM Inspector or similar inspection role.
• Proficiency in CMM software for creating inspection programs.
• Strong understanding of CMM best practice and inspection techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and specifications.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Competence in IT software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Recognised CMM training or programmer/operator training.
