Pertemps Sheffield is seeking an organised Transport Cluster Coordinator to support daily transport operations from our Treeton site. This part-time role focuses on driver resourcing, compliance and performance improvements.

You will liaise with drivers, management and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused transport activities, with a strong emphasis on regulatory adherence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, administration or purchasing.
• Strong communication, influencing and employee relations skills.
• Experience working with digital systems and data.
• Knowledge of KPI-based performance management.
• Understanding of Operator Licence requirements, Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
• CPC, ADR, IOSH or experience within industrial gases would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cluster Transport Manager with the day-to-day management of transport operations.
• Support driver resourcing and the weekly driver request process.
• Manage daily driver debriefs, addressing performance, compliance and safety issues.
• Monitor driver hours, licences and training to ensure legal and company compliance.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, servicing and MOTs, arranging replacements where required.
• Maintain accurate transport and administrative systems, including TMS, tachograph, fuel, training and SAPHR systems.
• Support purchasing, goods receipting, invoice queries and budget monitoring across the cluster.
• Contribute to SHEQ activities, incident reporting and continuous improvement projects.
• Deputise for the Cluster Transport Manager when required.

The Cluster Transport Coordinator, based in Treeton, supports daily transport operations for Pertemps Sheffield. This part-time position, paying £19.01 per hour, involves 27.5 hours weekly, worked Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Cluster Transport Manager, the role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient service. Duties include assisting with driver resourcing, managing weekly requests, and conducting debriefs. Acting as a liaison between drivers, management, and stakeholders, the coordinator identifies performance improvements and maintains standards. About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and organised Transport Coordinator (Bulk) to support the day-to-day running of our transport operations. Working closely with the Cluster Transport Manager, you will help ensure transport activities are safe, compliant, efficient and customer-focused . You’ll act as a key link between drivers, management and wider stakeholders, helping to identify issues, improve performance and maintain high operational standards.
