Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Cloud Performance Engineer to design and optimise high-performance cloud infrastructure for latency-sensitive workloads across AWS and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning cloud, networking, Linux, and automation to push performance and reliability.

Ideal candidates have deep AWS experience (EC2, VPC), strong networking, Terraform, and Linux scripting skills, plus Docker/Kubernetes and a proactive approach

Qualifications

• Strong AWS experience, particularly EC2, VPC and Direct Connect.
• Solid networking background – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing & switching.
• Experience with Cisco networking.
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong Linux skills and understanding of the Linux network stack.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
