Job summary

Nuix is seeking a junior-to-mid level Cloud Security Engineer in London to design and manage security controls for our cloud platforms. You will work alongside senior engineers to safeguard data and systems, learn, and grow in a hands-on security role.

The role emphasizes improving cloud security posture, incident response support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with hybrid work options and a chance to advance in information security.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
• Up to 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT roles, with some exposure to cloud security.
• Foundational knowledge of network and system security principles, practices, protocols, and technologies.
• Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, O365 and Azure.
• Familiarity with industry security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CSA.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for cloud-based platforms.
• Assist with technical risk assessments of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Develop and maintain cyber security controls and operations, standards, and procedures for cloud deployments.
• Support technical third-party security audits and assessments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the SDLC/DevOps.
• Monitor security logs, alerts, and events to identify and respond to incidents.
