Reed Professional Services LLP is seeking a QA and Test Engineer to ensure the quality of a cloud-based occupancy data platform hosted in AWS. This role is ideal for a consultant who excels in dynamic environments, enjoys testing complex systems, and is committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.

You will define testing strategies, implement automated tests, validate data processing and reporting, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Formación

• Active SC Clearance is required.
• Extensive experience in software testing and QA within Agile environments.
• Proven ability to develop test strategies and QA frameworks.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Hands-on API testing and systems integration testing.
• Experience validating complex data flows, transformations and reporting outputs.
• Strong experience with functional, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of defect management and risk-based testing.
• SQL skills for data validation.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain testing strategy and quality approach for the platform.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test suites for API, integration and data processing.
• Perform API, integration and data pipeline testing and validate data quality.
• Support sprint acceptance with independent QA and evidence collection.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and deployment validation.
• Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis and support resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and product teams to improve coverage and quality.
• Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to design reviews focusing on testability and non-functional testing.
