Job summary

Verda in London seeks a senior platform leader to drive the next stage of our cloud platform, developing capabilities, improving performance and reliability, and scaling services to meet growing customer demand.

You’ll own the platform’s technical direction and the team delivering it, including Customer Support, with scope across compute, storage, Kubernetes, serverless, and inference, plus the console, APIs, SDKs, CLI, and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience scaling an engineering organisation and developing managers/technical leaders.
• Deep technical judgment in cloud platforms or distributed systems.
• Proven track record delivering and improving platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Set the platform vision and goals translating company aims into outcomes.
• Multiply impact by coaching Engineering Managers and technical leaders.
• Own platform delivery with realistic commitments and risk management.
• Lead through technical depth and design improvements for platform.
• Make the platform usable for humans and agents with clear interfaces and costs visibility.
• Continuously improve AI-assisted workflows and development practices.
• Raise service quality through testing, security, observability, and operations.
