Halfords Group PLC in Worcestershire is seeking a Cloud & Hosting Lead to own Halfords' hybrid hosting estate across Azure, AWS, on‑premise infrastructure and colocation. You will define the platform direction, drive architectural improvements and align cloud capabilities with business outcomes.

You will lead platform governance, enable automation, manage FinOps, and collaborate with engineering, data, security and partner teams to mature the environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud and hosting platforms in large enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to govern multi‑cloud environments (Azure + AWS).
• Track record delivering cloud transformation and platform maturity programs.
• Experience managing outsourced engineering or managed service providers.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud and hosting estate across Azure, AWS, on‑premise infra, and colocation.
• Define and govern Infrastructure as Code strategy and standards.
• Define and deliver the cloud migration roadmap.
• Mature cloud platform with governance, guardrails, automation, observability.
• Manage third‑party engineering and operations partners.
• Own cloud cost management and FinOps activities.
• Collaborate with development, data, AI, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop strategic roadmaps, budgets, investment priorities, and platform plans.
