Job summary
Fred. Olsen Ltd is seeking a Cloud Platform Lead to shape and deliver a Secure, scalable Azure-based platform underpinning all services.
You will lead, design and engineer cloud platforms within the Platform & Cloud Tower, embedding automation, governance, and DevOps practices to accelerate a platform-led operating model. The role sits in a One Service Tower model, collaborating with Applications, Infrastructure and Data teams to enable consistent technology services and cost optimisation across
Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and engineering Azure cloud platforms.
- Proven delivery of cloud transformation / migration programmes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Deep understanding of networking, identity, and security in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead Azure cloud platform design, engineering and delivery.
- Define landing zones, reference architectures, and governance standards.
- Embed automation, resilience, and DevOps practices to accelerate platform maturity.
- Collaborate across service towers to enable secure, scalable cloud services.
- Drive FinOps, cost visibility and optimisation within platform design.
