Job summary

AVEVA in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a Software Engineer – Cloud UE to design, build, and operate SaaS services for Unified Engineering on AWS. You will work across serverless APIs, identity workflows, and Windows‑centric infrastructure, contributing to CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

You will join a distributed team, own features end‑to‑end, and apply security and reliability practices while exploring new cloud technologies and streaming capabilities to deliver scalable, resilient software.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable AWS SaaS services: design, develop, and support platform components.
• Develop integrations and serverless capabilities: deliver APIs, event-driven workflows, and identity/SCIM integrations with AVEVA CONNECT.
• Operate and improve cloud environments: support desktop streaming and Windows-centric infrastructure with observability and cost/performance focus.
• Deliver securely with automation and teamwork: write clean, tested, documented code; contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure automation; collaborate in agile planning, troubleshoot issues, communicate risks.
