AVEVA in Cambridge is seeking a Cloud Developer to join the Unified Supply Chain R&D team, building and evolving infrastructure that powers critical customer workflows. You will work with a dedicated development team to deliver robust, scalable cloud solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on IaC, Azure services, and a proactive approach to production. Collaboration, good communication, and a drive to improve operational reliability are essential keywords for success.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) development.
• Proficiency in scripting with Powershell or similar.
• Experience with core Azure services: compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics.
• A proactive self-starting approach, owning work through to production.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team to deliver improvements to the infrastructure platform.
• Design infrastructure improvements balancing robustness and business value.
• Diagnose and fix issues affecting production infrastructure.
• Identify and communicate technical issues, risks and opportunities for improvement.
