Job summary
Accenture UK & Ireland in Leeds is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineering Specialist to lead enterprise-scale cloud programmes and craft AI-enabled platform environments. You will shape compute, networking, storage and security for GenAI/ML workloads, while embedding AI-assisted automation across delivery and governance.
You will mentor teams, drive CIP/CD pipelines with AI capabilities, and advance IaC practices at scale, partnering with clients to deliver sustainable, high-performance cloud
Qualifications
- Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade cloud platforms across multiple providers.
- Proficiency in IaC and AI-assisted delivery methodologies.
- Experience leading engineering teams and engaging in client-facing propositions.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platform programmes across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake.
- Architect and oversee AI-ready platform environments including compute, networking, storage and security for GenAI/ML workloads.
- Drive AIOps adoption with automated incident detection and self-healing infrastructure.
- Lead the design and delivery of CI/CD platforms with AI-assisted deployment and testing automation.
- Establish and govern Infrastructure as Code practices at scale, leveraging AI-assisted code generation.
- Lead platform security, networking and compliance engineering with policy-as-code and automated governance.
- Design for resilience, FinOps and performance via AI-driven telemetry and observability.
- Promote agentic operations patterns and governance for autonomous workflows.
- Mentor engineering teams and set technical standards for delivery excellence.
- Contribute to propositions, accelerators and reusable platform assets.
