Job summary

Accenture Leeds is hiring a Cloud Platform Engineering Specialist to lead enterprise-scale cloud platform programmes across Azure, AWS, GCP and more. You will architect AI-ready environments, drive AI-assisted deployment and self-healing capabilities, and govern IaC at scale.

The role requires guiding teams in AI-augmented delivery and contributing to reusable platform assets. You’ll work onsite in Leeds, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge data and AI workloads

Qualifications

• Design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platforms across one or more of Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake.
• Advanced Infrastructure as Code capabilities (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) including AI-assisted IaC generation and governance.
• CI/CD platform design and implementation with AI-assisted deployment and test automation.
• AIOps, platform observability and intelligent monitoring, including self-healing capabilities.
• Cloud security, networking, IAM and policy-as-code engineering.

Responsibilities

• As a Cloud Platform Engineering Specialist, lead delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platform programmes across major cloud providers.
• Architect AI-ready platform environments, designing compute, networking, storage and security for GenAI and ML workloads.
• Drive AIOps adoption with intelligent monitoring and automated incident detection and self-healing infrastructure.
• Lead CI/CD platforms with AI-assisted deployment pipelines and automated testing.
• Establish and govern infrastructure as code practices at scale with AI-assisted code generation and review.
• Lead platform security, networking and compliance engineering with policy-as-code.
• Design for platform resilience, FinOps and performance optimisation using AI-driven telemetry.
• Promote agentic operations patterns and govern autonomous and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Mentor engineering teams and set technical standards for AI-augmented delivery.
• Contribute to propositions, accelerators and reusable platform assets.
