Job summary

SGN seeks a senior Cloud Operations leader to own performance, availability and resilience of cloud platforms and hosted services in a hybrid Portsmouth-based role. You will lead incident, problem, change and event management, ensuring timely restoration and clear communication while embedding operational FinOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud operations in a complex enterprise.
• Proven ability to manage incidents, problems and changes for cloud services.
• Knowledge of cloud cost management and FinOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Own operational performance, availability and resilience of cloud platforms.
• Lead cloud incident, problem, change and event management with timely restoration and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain runbooks, support models and governance aligned with ITIL/engineered practices.
• Ensure compliance with security, risk, data protection and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cloud consumption, budgets and optimisation plans, embedding FinOps.
