Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Packet Core Test Engineer to ensure quality, stability, and readiness of containerized Packet Core for live deployment. You’ll test, validate, and integrate new releases and design changes, identifying risks and coordinating with stakeholders and vendors for reliable delivery into operations.

The role emphasizes testing, platform validation, and collaboration across teams to enable a smooth deployment pathway in a complex mobile core environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in integration and/or testing for Mobile Telecoms Packet Core platforms (2G-5G).
• Hands-on testing, packet capture, and diagnostics using tools like Wireshark or Infovista Ativa.
• Good understanding of Linux, containers and cloud-native tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (e.g., CCNA-SP).

Responsibilities

• Manage and support acceptance and integration of software releases for Containerized Mobile Packet Core through the test cycle.
• Test management, risk mitigation, platform validation and stakeholder communication.
