Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Telecom Test Engineer with hands-on experience in the Mobile Data Core domain to join our testing and validation team in Reading. You will design and execute test cases, validate 4G LTE EPC and 5G Core functions, and ensure end-to-end performance and reliability of packet core solutions.

You'll collaborate with development, systems integration, and operations teams, applying Linux/Unix, automation scripting, and monitoring tools to troubleshoot and improve network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in Telecom Testing with a focus on Data Core networks.
• Strong understanding of LTE EPC and 5G Core architecture.

Responsibilities

• Validating 4G LTE EPC and 5G Core network functions.
• Ensuring end-to-end functionality, performance, interoperability, and reliability of packet core solutions.
• Designing and executing test cases, analyzing network protocols, troubleshooting issues.
