Job summary

Turnitin is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, automate and operate large-scale systems across global teams. You will help design infrastructure for on-premise and AWS, craft IaC, and ensure highly available services for customers and internal users.

You will collaborate with Engineering, QA and Support, break complex work into milestones, and advocate for reliable, maintainable, and observable systems in a fast-paced EdTech environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing reliable and fault-tolerant service architecture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, QA, and Support teams.
• Break down large projects into independent milestones.
• Contribute to design and implementation of infrastructure across on-premise and AWS.
• Write readable, testable, maintainable infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure systems are fault-tolerant and highly available for external and internal users.
