Job summary

10x Banking is seeking a Software Engineer to work on the cloud-native core banking platform. You’ll design and implement distributed backend systems, delivering scalable services for global financial institutions and handling the full development lifecycle.

You’ll join a remote-enabled London-based team, operating in an Agile environment with modern tooling like Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and Kafka to ensure production-ready software.

Qualifications

• Solid Java development with Spring Boot, ideally Java 21+.
• Strong with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-native tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed backend systems for a cloud-native banking platform.
• Deliver scalable, production-grade software in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to improve reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
