Job summary

Valarian Technologies is building secure, sovereign digital infrastructure with a cloud-first IT function. You will support and evolve internal IT, align with security posture, and implement best-in-class tooling in a high-growth environment.

You’ll work closely with the TechOps Lead to strengthen compliance (SOC-2, ISO-27001) and scale IT operations for expanding teams across London and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT in a cloud-first environment.
• Experience in high-growth startups, including scaling offices and onboarding.
• Ability to build IT operations from scratch in fast-moving environments.
• Hands-on MacOS fleet management with MDM (e.g., Jamf, Kandji).
• Familiarity with SaaS infrastructure, identity providers, and zero-trust.
• Experience with SOC-2 compliance; exposure to UK government standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and operate Valarian’s IT environment across a cloud-based infrastructure.
• Design and implement IT policies, standards, and processes.
• Collaborate with the TechOps Lead to align IT with security strategy and compliance programs (SOC-2, CE/CE+).
• Expand and mature IT controls underpinning security and compliance.
• Manage endpoint security, access control, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Evaluate and implement IT tools to boost productivity and security.
• Serve as escalation point for IT issues and build scalable support processes.
• Maintain asset management visibility and system health.
• Support business continuity and resilience planning from IT perspective.
