Job summary

Valarian Technologies is seeking an IT Support professional to shape and run our cloud-first IT function. You will secure and scale our modern infrastructure, partner with the TechOps Lead to enhance compliance, and support a high-growth organisation operating across London and globally.

The role focuses on building IT operations from the ground up, managing macOS fleets, SaaS tools, and identity providers, while driving continuous improvement in security and resilience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting IT in a modern, cloud-first environment.
• Experience in high-growth startups, including scaling IT for new offices and onboarding.
• Hands-on building IT operations from scratch in fast-moving teams, with vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Support and operate Valarian’s IT environment across cloud-based infrastructure and devices.
• Design and implement IT policies to secure and scale the organisation.
• Collaborate with TechOps Lead to align IT with security strategy and compliance (SOC-2, CE/CE+, etc.).
• Grow IT controls to underpin security and compliance programs.
• Manage endpoint, access control, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Evaluate and deploy IT tools to improve productivity and security.
• Serve as escalation point for IT issues and build scalable support processes.
• Maintain asset visibility, device posture, and system health.
• Support business continuity and resilience from an IT perspective.
