Job summary

Valarian Technologies, headquartered in London, seeks an ambitious Head of Information Security to own the company’s security posture, enterprise risk, and product compliance. You will integrate security into engineering culture, ensure trust with customers, and align with global defense standards.

Ideal for a senior security leader with hands‑on expertise in cloud security, zero-trust, and risk management. The role is based in London with a hybrid work model across the global organization.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in cybersecurity leadership or senior security roles.
• Experience with enterprise and defense security standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive Valarian’s Zero-Trust security roadmap and governance.
• Own audit readiness for SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53.
• Embed security into CI/CD and secure SDLC across products.
• Lead incident response and threat monitoring for global ops.
• Represent security in high-stakes customer reviews and procurement.
