Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join Cloud Foundational Services. You will apply deep expertise across infrastructure engineering domains to support scalable, reliable systems in production.

This role requires collaboration with product teams, driving modernisation initiatives, and providing follow-the-sun on-call support. The ideal candidate has strong AWS experience, scripting (Python), and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, as well as certifications in

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking, deployment practices, automation or resilience.
• Hands-on experience supporting workloads in AWS with core services like compute, storage, networking, monitoring and DB tech.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to projects of moderate scope.
• Drive a workstream or project with infrastructure technologies.
• Collaborate with platforms to architect changes and modernize processes.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support through a distributed team.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge as features are released.
