Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Infrastructure Platforms Cloud Foundation Services team.

You will build and operate secure, scalable cloud provisioning capabilities across Azure initially, with growth toward AWS and Google Cloud. You will contribute to design, code, and automation, applying enterprise AI-assisted development tools while ensuring quality, security, and reliability across the platform used by thousands of engineers.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI-assisted software development tools.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure; AWS or Google Cloud a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code for cloud provisioning with initial Azure focus.
• Review and debug code written by others and contribute to design and functionality.
• Support migration to new provisioning capabilities with repeatable automation.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and ensure outputs are validated by peers.
• Improve automation across the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain.
• Promote firmwide practices and tooling across engineering teams.
• Influence adoption of leading-edge cloud technologies.
• Foster a diverse, inclusive team culture and collaboration.
