Job summary

JPMorganChase is building foundational cloud infrastructure to power enterprise-scale platforms. The role focuses on Azure provisioning initially, with expansion to AWS and Google Cloud over time, delivering high-quality code and scalable foundations for the firm’s cloud estate.

You will work in Infrastructure Platforms Cloud Foundation Services, contributing to design, automation, and operations as part of an agile team committed to security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure; basic AWS/GCloud knowledge.
• Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
• Understanding cloud-native architectures and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code for our cloud provisioning platform, focusing on Azure initially, and review code from others.
• Contribute to product design, functionality, and operations ensuring platform reliability and scalability.
• Support migration to the new provisioning capability, building automation for repeatable migration.
• Leverage enterprise AI coding tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding.
• Apply SDLC tooling knowledge to improve automation value.
• Contribute to engineering community as advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices.
• Influence peers and decision-makers on use of leading-edge cloud technologies.
• Foster a team culture of diversity, inclusion, opportunity, and respect.
