Job summary

JPMorganChase in the United Kingdom is seeking a Software Engineer III to join Infrastructure Platforms Cloud Foundation Services. You will help build the base layer of the firm’s cloud estate, starting on Azure and expanding to AWS and Google Cloud.

You will write secure production code for the cloud provisioning platform, review peers, and contribute to design, automation, and secure coding standards in an agile environment. Strong experience with Terraform and Azure is required.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and cloud provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code for cloud provisioning on Azure with future multi-cloud scope.
• Contribute to design, functionality, operations, and processes to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Support migration to new provisioning capabilities and build repeatable automation.
• Apply SDLC tools and enterprise AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Promote firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices across the SDLC.
