Job summary

ProsperOps, Inc. seeks a seasoned FinOps practitioner to support and expand Autonomous Discount Management for AWS and Azure, partnering with prospects and customers to address cloud cost optimization challenges and provide guidance on strategic and tactical FinOps matters.

The ideal candidate brings deep FinOps expertise with experience optimizing costs on AWS and Azure, and a willingness to build depth on the other platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in FinOps or Engineering with cloud providers (AWS/Azure preferred)
• Hands-on with cost tooling and cost management platforms
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to run queries and API calls to collect data
• Startup mentality and problem-solving attitude
• High integrity and curiosity

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to deliver product demos that showcase our edge and help close deals
• Analyze cloud cost optimization opportunities across AWS and Azure and communicate insights clearly
• Be the go-to expert on AWS/Azure reservations and savings plans and translate concepts into guidance
• Craft dynamic demos that highlight ProsperOps value during sales engagements
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Operations to answer platform questions on rate optimization
• Team up with Product to brainstorm and build innovative optimization services
• Scope and configure Savings Analyses tailored to each customer’s footprint
• Contribute to feature development and automation for Savings Analysis reports
