Job summary

CDW is seeking an Associate Cloud FinOps Manager to support the financial and operational performance of CDW’s cloud accounts. You will help mature FinOps capabilities, assist in governance, analytics, and cost optimisation while delivering value-driven customer engagement.

You will work with Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams to drive cost visibility, forecasting, and budget adherence across multiple client accounts. The role emphasises growing independence and proactive ownership.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with cloud technologies across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong grasp of cloud financial management, including cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting.
• High analytical capability to interpret technical, financial, and usage data.
• Familiarity with CloudHealth, AWS Cost Explorer, or Azure Cost Management.
• Excellent communication to translate complex information for executives.
• Organised and detail‑driven, able to support multiple customers and workstreams.
• Collaborative mindset with cross‑functional teams to drive outcomes.
• Desirable but not essential: exposure to GreenOps, SaaS optimisation, SAM or ITAM.

Responsibilities

• Sales support in pre-sales activities to drive new opportunities.
• Develop cloud financial strategies and governance frameworks.
• Engage with customers to understand usage and cost drivers.
• Analyze resource utilisation, tagging, and commitment strategies.
• Produce usage trend analysis, forecasting support, and cost modelling.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics.
• Create training materials and support FinOps workshops.
• Build strong relationships with customer contacts and stakeholders.
• Attend internal and customer sessions to promote Cloud FinOps.
• Contribute ideas to mature CDW’s Cloud FinOps services.
• Stay informed on cloud pricing and FinOps disciplines.
